Once again this year, Dimora Storica Muratore is delighted to take part in “Cortili Aperti 2026”, the historic event promoted by ADSI – Italian Historic Houses Association, Puglia Section, in collaboration with the City of Lecce. Every year, the initiative allows citizens and visitors to discover private places of extraordinary charm in the heart of Lecce’s historic center.
On Sunday, May 24th, 2025, the garden of Dimora Storica Muratore will be open to the public exclusively in the afternoon, from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Entrance will be from Via Scarambone no. 36.
Located in the heart of Baroque Lecce, Dimora Storica Muratore (read its story here) preserves the authentic charm of the ancient residences of Salento’s historic bourgeoisie. The villa, which has always belonged to the Muratore family, still retains original architectural details, elegant interiors, and intimate atmospheres that tell the story of the city and the families who have lived there through the centuries.
The terraced garden climbing along the ancient city walls of Lecce is one of the most evocative corners of the residence: an intimate and secluded space characterized by Lecce stone, dry-stone walls, Mediterranean plants, centuries-old trees, and picturesque views reminiscent of the traditional homes of Salento.
To enrich the afternoon, at 5:30 PM guests will enjoy the poolside musical performance “From Jazz to Pop”, a refined musical journey through timeless classics and contemporary sounds.
The trio will feature:
- Maestro Stefano Pellegrino on keyboards
- Michele Colaci on double bass
- accompanied by the voice of Miriana Anglano
An elegant and engaging musical moment that will accompany guests through the unique atmosphere of the residence’s garden.
The Muratore family and the entire staff of Dimora Storica Muratore are once again pleased to open the doors of their home to visitors wishing to experience beauty, history, and hospitality in the heart of Lecce.
Please note that the garden will be open to visitors from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM. In the event of high attendance, entrances may be regulated in order to ensure a pleasant and safe visit for all guests.
